Dream Pools: Favorite Outlandish Pools from Around the World

With the chill in the air letting you know that winter is on its way, it can be helpful to distract yourself with thoughts of warmer things. Here at ABC Pools, we love what we do, but we are not immune from daydreaming. While on the job, we generally daydream about creating some of the most outlandish pool designs in the world. The following is a list of some of our favorites.

Shawn House in Vancouver

This is a home that has dedicated the entire second floor to a pool. The bottom is glass, so the entire first floor can see directly into the pool.

Alila Villas in Bali

Honestly, we could fill a whole list with the amazing pools they create in Bali. The Alila Villas, however, is one of our very favorites. The villas are all situated over the pool, and the border stops at a cliff. From the cliff, you can see down into the ocean past the stone cliff below. It is mesmerizing and offers a very unique experience.

Nemo 33 in Belgium

If you love to scuba dive, but just can't get to the ocean often enough, then you might consider creating a house like this one. The basement is a three-story deep pool created with mazes and rooms for you to scuba dive through. There is really nothing else like this in the world.
